Starting from scratch!
Introduction of the project was done. Theme is to build our online portfolio using all the basics we have so far learnt plus some theories. This first day I had to think of my portfolio design and colours. This very day, I also started creating the text content of my blog.

Sounds like you are NOT starting from scratch! First step would be some brainstorming and mind-mapping. From these find the focus of your design and then you could start moodboarding!
